After obtaining a BS in
Biology from The Pennsylvania State University in 1996, Dr. Bhatnagar graduated from University of Pittsburgh, School of
Dental Medicine in 2000. She continued her training in an intensive residency program at the Albert Einstein Medical Center
in Philadelphia for one year. This training has enabled her to treat all facets of dentistry efficiently, effectively,
gently, and thoroughly. After her training, Dr. Bhatnagar remained in the hospital dentistry arena treating medically and
mentally compromised patients at Special Smiles, Ltd., Episcopal Hospital, Temple University. Her love for treating medically
and mentally challenged patients gave her the inspiration to complete a Masters in Public Health from the University of
Pittsburgh, School of Public Health. Dr. Bhatnagar remains active with advancements in dentistry through seminars and study
clubs. Her passion is to provide dental health and beautiful smiles to people and their families.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. Bhatnagar enjoys music, golfing, hiking, yoga, and spending time with family and friends. She has been happily married for over five years, and plans to raise a family in the Chandler area. Dr. Bhatnagar’s husband Ajay Bhatnagar, MD, MBA is a practicing radiation oncologist in Casa Grande, and is extremely devoted to his field. Together, Drs. Ajay and Rashmi Bhatnagar spend much of their time with charitable events fightingagainst causes of various types of cancer.
Prior to her Arizona relocation, Dr. Bhatnagar was practicing dentistry in Pennsylvania. She takes pride in her relationships gained with previous staff and patients. She was featured in the Pittsburgh 51 Corridor newspaper and wrote monthly articles educating people on different procedures and trends in the field of dentistry. Now, she continues to spread dental education with monthly columns in the Ahwatukee Foothills News newspaper. Dr. Bhatnagar hopes to continue building close relationships with her patients in Ahwatukee, and hopes to spread dental education among the surrounding community.
Dr. Dallin Birch is originally from
southeastern Idaho and came to the Phoenix area in 1998. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Arizona
State University. Dr. Birch graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida and has also received post-graduate training in endodontics, CEREC and Invisalign. He is an artist by nature and is
very meticulous as he strives to deliver the highest quality dental care. He is very compassionate and tries to give every
patient the most comfortable experience possible.
Dr. Birch is an accomplished musician, having played piano for over 25 years. He also likes to go snowboarding in the winter. Most of all, he loves to spend time with his wife and his two young children.
Dr. Birch is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Fraiman is a
prosthodontist, specializing in complex restorative dentistry. After graduating from SUNY @ Buffalo School of Dental
Medicine, Dr.Fraiman completed a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pa. Dr.
Fraiman was asked to stay on as Chief Resident the following year, after which he completed a 3 year ADA-residency
specializing in Prosthdontics. Dr. Fraiman has held teaching positions at University of Pennsylvania Dental School in
addition to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Fraiman limits his practice to advanced restorative
dentistry including the placement and restoration of dental implants, porcelain crowns and veneers, complete dentures, and
full mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Fraiman has completed research on dental implants that has been incorporated into the design
of many dental implants used today. Dr. Fraiman lectures nationwide of various dental topics. Dr. Fraiman lives with his
wife and two daughters in Cave Creek, Arizona.
Dr. Gus Khalifa grew up
in New Jersey, thirty minutes from the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelors degree in Biology with a
minor in History while attending LaSalle University in Philadelphia. Thereafter, he received his Masters of Science in
Immunology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. During that time he focused on discovering viral causes for
the onset of multiple sclerosis.
After completion of his Masters of Science, Dr. Khalifa attended Columbia University School of Dentistry in New York city. While attending dental school, he became involved in student leadership roles. During his second year at Columbia University he began his leadership as the class government representative. His third year, he acted as Vice President of the student body for the dental school. His fourth year, Dr. Khalifa became the student body president where he received a leadership award recognizing his service to his peers.
Following dental school, a one year hospital general practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia was completed. While attending his residency, Dr. Khalifa successfully completed training in Emergency Medicine, Oral Surgery, Plastic surgery and Internal Medicine as well as General Hospital Based Dentistry.
Dr. Khalifa thereafter completed a two year post-graduate program in the specialty field of Endodontics at New York University. This two year program focused exclusively on "Root Canals" and surgical procedures in Endodontics. During this time, he met Dr. Tom Lammot, who would become his partner in Canyon Ridge Endodontics
After graduating from NYU School of Dentistry with post-graduate training in Endodontics, Dr. Khalifa moved to Chicago where he practiced Endodontics with a multi-specialty dental practice for two years. In 2005, he relocated to Phoenix to open Canyon Ridge Endodontics with his partner Dr. Lammot and the practice began treating patients from all over the valley and will continue to do so for years to come. In 2008 and 2009, Dr. Khalifa was recognized by Phoenix magazine as one of the valley's top endodontists. He was also recognized by the consumer research council of America in 2009 and 2010 as one of the country"s top endodontists.
Outside of his professional career, Dr. Khalifa enjoys the outdoor life here in Phoenix as well as traveling outside the valley. His other hobbies include motorcycles, movies and football.
Growing up in Upstate
New York, Dr. Mondlick attended Union College in Schenectady, New York and the State University of New York at Buffalo School
of Dental Medicine. He then furthered his education with an additional year of training in hospital, community, and special
needs dentistry as well as trauma at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mondlick then relocated
to the Phoenix, Arizona to practice general dentistry for three years in South Phoenix. He was selected to enroll in the
prestigious Veterans Affairs Hospital / New York University combined program in periodontics in New York City. The program
was a three-year, full-time residency with over 6000 hours focusing on periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Mondlick’s
training in New York City was focused on both small and large inter-disciplinary treatment plans, staged serial extraction
cases (transitioning patients from all teeth to all implants), soft (gum) and hard (bone) tissue corrective procedures, sinus
grafting, control of periodontal disease and its effects, as well as dealing with severely medically compromised patients.
Dr. Mondlick is affiliated with multiple professional organizations locally, nationally, and internationally including: the American Dental Association, Alpha Omega, Arizona Dental Association, the Arizona Society of Periodontists, and the American Academy of Periodontology. He also teaches clinical periodontics part-time as an Assistant Professor at the Midwestern School of Dental Medicine, in Glendale, AZ, and volunteers at the Central Arizona Shelter Service’s free dental clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. In his free time, Dr. Mondlick enjoys taking advantage of the outdoor activities that Arizona offers as well as reading, movies, and photography.
Dr. Heath Snell
completed his undergraduate studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from Arizona State University. He then went on to pursue
his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Snell
received several honors and awards and was nominated into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society.
Following dental school, Dr. Snell completed a one-year course of study in Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he gained the needed training to perform such complex dental procedures as placement of dental implants and extraction of wisdom teeth. Because of this extra training, he is also certified to perform Oral and IV sedation.
When he is not working, Dr. Snell enjoys spending time with his wife, Chelsea, and their four kids. He also enjoys athletics and photography and is very active in his church and community.
