Our preventive program of exam and cleaning is to preserve your natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progression, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions.
You begin your prevention program at home with a healthy, balanced diet and good oral hygiene. We continue this program in the dental office with your dentist and hygienist performing exam and cleaning procedures to help you maintain your oral health. The use of sealants, fluoride, and other prevention products may be recommended during the course of your prevention services. Preventing dental decay, periodontal disease, and TMJ trauma will help you avoid painful, costly, and serious dental problems.
